PowerSleeve® is our field-wetted engineered composite kit. It consists of a fabric that is hybrid of E-glass and Kevlar®. It is non-crimped and provides strength

in a multi-axis layout. Piping temperatures up to 500° F can be repaired, as well as systems containing harsh chemicals, such as acids. Custom fiber alloys and carbon fiber are available upon request for special applications. This product is ideal for layups on complex, curved and irregular surfaces due to its conform- ability.  Also, because of the exceptional adhesion properties of the PowerMatrix™ epoxy, it is highly effective for containment and reinforcement of flat surface repairs.

The PowerSleeve® kits are size specific for pipe diameters ranging from 6 inches to 108 inches. Each kit comes with pre-measured tape and PowerMatrix™

quantities to reduce errors in the field. Complete installation supplies include primer, stricture banding, spreader, gloves, safety glasses, mixing sticks, brushes

 W-11

This fabric is a hybrid allow employing aerospace grade E-glass and DuPont's Kevlar® yarns, arranged in a multi-axis layout that maximizes the ultimate composite strengths. It is constructed using a unique non-crumpled method that reduces stress on the individual fibers and increases strength over generic woven fabrics by as much as 30%. This fabric allow for much better resin wet-out and its multi-axis format provides strength n the 90º, +45º and -45º axis. Width is 12" nominal (wider widths are available).

 G-03

This tape fabric is used for quick and easy installation on smaller diameters. It maybe spiraled axially along piping and elbows or wrapped circum- ferentially around the pipe. Widths are available from 2" through 6".

 Bear™ G-22

Bear™ G-22 fabric is a highly comfortable, bi-axial fabric that is used around irregular shapes and anomalies. It can be used for the repair and reinforcement of existing mechanical systems, structures and piping. the curers product is a very durable, high strength material, impervious to fuels, most chemicals and solvents. It permanently bonds to a wide variety of surfaces when used with the PowerSleeve® Matrix Systems, such as metals, composites, plastics and wood. This product ships DOT non-hazardous. Also available in Carbon fiber (special order item).

Matrix Systems

Standard Matrix - A two component, ambient temperature matrix used in our PowerSleeve® composite reinforcement products. This ambient temperature cure matrix wets out easily and can be applied to our PowerSleeve® W-11 and G-03 fabrics. It is relatively fast setting, approximately 30 minutes @77ºF and is used where a maximum service temperature of 180º F is desired. No VOC's, 100% solids. This product ships DOT non-hazardous.

439 Matrix - A two component, medium temperature matrix used in our PowerSleeve® w-11 and G-03 fabrics. It is relatively fast setting, approximately 60 minutes

@77ºF and is used where a maximum service temperature of 300ºF is desired. Intermittent excursions to 325ºF can also be tolerated. The color will change from a mild yellow to dark amber when temperatures rise above 140ºF. this product ships DOT hazardous (corrosive).

439-S Matrix - A two-component, medium temperature matrix used in PowerSleeve® composite reinforcement products. The matrix wets out easily and can be easily applied to our Power Sleeve® W-11 and G-03 fabrics. This derivative of our 439 System allow for higher application temperatures. to achieve its ultimate properties, it requires heat in excess of 200ºF during the curing process. It is relatively fast setting, approximately 45 minutes @150º and is used where a maxi- mum service temperature of 300ºF is desired. Intermittent excursions to 325ºF can also be tolerated. The color will change from a mild yellow to dark amber when temperatures rise above 150ºF. This product ships DOT hazardous (corrosive).

70079 Matrix - Type 70079 Matrix is a premium quality, nonvolac-epoxy hybrid system with excellent exposure resistance to mow military and civilian fuels and a vast array of chemicals. This product is used as a composite matrix where its fuel and chemical performances are required. It is very resistant to moisture and humidity effects. it will cure in high humidity conditions. This product contains no solvents, is 100% solids, and contains zero VOC's. This product ships as non- hazardous.

X-TEMP 2 - A two-component, heat resistant matrix used in our PowerSleevePowerSleeve® composite reinforcement products. This elevated temperature cure matrix wets out easily and can be applied to our PowerSleeve® W-11 and G-03 fabrics. This system allows for higher application temperatures. to achieve its ultimate properties, it requires heat in excess of 450ºF during the curing process. It is relatively fast setting, approximately 80 minutes @150ºF and is used where a maximum service temperature of 525ºF is desired. The color will be dark amber when temperatures rise above 200ºF. This product ships DOT hazardous (corrosive).
